MPOW Car Vent Phone Holder

The MPOW Car Vent Holder is a well constructed and very solid phone holder which is by far my new favourite car gadget. The device arrives in two pieces for easy transport, but easily connects to form a very solid holding device. This unit holds the phone at the perfect height and distance away from the driver, much better than a windshield mount which can block your view of the road and be difficult to reach.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that every part of this holder that comes into contact with your phone is padded and very gently cradles your device. Even the two feet that come into contact with your cars dash are padded. While the pads are soft, they are also firm and do an excellent job holding your device firmly in place. I have a large Galaxy Note 4 and this holder had no problem holding it steady, even over bumpy roads.

Attaching the device to the vent was very easy and straight forward. Simply slide back the vent clip, slide over one of your vent slits and release. The device grabs onto the vent and two padded feet rest against the dash below the vent, forming a solid connection with the car. Place your phone in and squeeze the sides to hold your phone securely. You can even choose to lock your phone in place by flipping a switch located on the back. To release your device, simply press the release button located on the rear of the unit and the side arms expand, freeing your phone.

I am very satisfied with this phone holder. It holds your phone at the perfect height and distance, keeping it within reach should you need to access it (while parked of course). A great alternative to a windshield mount.
