The Mpow Solar Spotlight is a 4 coloured rechargeable spotlight that is substantially brighter than a traditional solar light. It features a very large and sturdy solar panel, which is individually adjustable from the spotlight unit. This ensures that the panel can be placed for optimal solar gain, while allowing you to aim the spotlight where you please.
The package features an attachable ground spike which lets you easily place the spotlight in your garden, as well as 3 screws and anchors if you wish to attach the spotlight to the side of a structure or tree. The optional colours you can choose between are red, blue, green, or a pink, which at night is the brightest of the 4 and could easily pass as white, if that’s what you’re looking for. The light turns on automatically when the sun sets and powers off when the sun rises, allowing it to recharge.
There is a rubberized button on the bottom of the solar panel which controls the unit and allows you to choose which colour you want the light to shine. The unit is very solidly built, much more sturdy than the many solar lights I have seen at big box retailers. This, more than anything else, impressed me the most about this product.
With gardening season almost upon us, I can’t wait to clean up the garden and find the perfect area to place this Mpow spotlight. From my experience with it so far, it will have no trouble lighting up a wide area, and from how well it is constructed (IP65 rating) I can see it lasting many seasons, unlike many cheaper solar powered lights available.
